This picture looked like everything wrong at first, despite the PC message. A stereotype fest: woman shopping in stilleto heels. Cause we're trained to swollow the bullshit paradigm that it's in our genetic code: women shop compulsivley, and torture our bodies for fashion. Cause we're dumb.
But wait. Is there personal prejudice here? How do I know that's not an intersex person or a man in those heels?
And aren't people allowed to like heels and shopping? Is the point of progressive social growth to impose a different set of stereotypes and social prohibitions, or it it to affirm everyones right to be comfortable being themselves?
Why would I have the right to tell my daughter, my brother, or my MTF friend NOT to wear heels if they want to?
Liberation from false and unhealthy social conditioning is a subtle thing, not something you can capture in dogma or formulas. Revolution starts from within.
WHAT DO YOU THINK?
